After breakfast, your tour on this day starts with a drive through Singapore’s Civic District which is a historic and cultural repository and consists of prominent landmarks like Padang, Cricket Club, Parliament House, Supreme Court and City Hall. Driving past these landmarks is both an exciting and enlightening experience. Next, make your way to Merlion Park (a major landmark which offers panoramic views of Marina Bay) for some photography opportunity beside the Merlion (with a lion’s head and body of a fish, it’s the official mascot of Singapore).
The next stop is the Thian Hock Keng Temple, the oldest Chinese temple in Singapore dedicated to Mazu, Goddess of the Sea. Then, head to Chinatown for a visit to the local handicraft center, and from there, make your way to Little India. As the name implies, it gives you the feeling of being in a mini-sized India with all its spirituality, spices, shop-houses and much more. The afternoon is reserved for a Sentosa Sunset Tour, where excitement presents itself in the form of a cable car ride to the island along with all the other attractions that promises to make your day. The highlight of the day’s tour, however, promises to be a visit to the Underwater World which gives you a chance of getting up and close to the marine life. One of the main attractions is the Dolphin Lagoon where you get to see a unique breed of dolphins. The visit ends with a Wings of Time show, an incredibly display of fountains, fireworks and music.
Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
